HOWARD GLATZER

FOUNDER AND PRESIDENT

Howard Glatzer founded Cadence Property Group in 2014, combining 25 years as an accomplished finance and investment professional in real estate with his passion for building, developing and generating value as an owner.  Recognizing that being creative and being institutional were not mutually exclusive concepts, Mr. Glatzer has created a firm based on both.  On the creative side, Cadence’s projects incorporate inspired design, forward-thinking marketing, and a meticulous attention to quality.  On the institutional side, projects benefit from a sophisticated approach to deal structuring, financial analysis, partnership, and capitalization. Mr. Glatzer’s ethos for the firm is captured in its name, Cadence – finding the best combination of these attributes to create a unique and successful rhythm for every project.

Prior to forming Cadence, Mr. Glatzer served as the co-head or key investment professional at several successful real estate investment firms including: Co-Head and Chief Operating Officer of 40 North Properties, a privately held real estate investment firm sponsored by two New York-based high net worth families; Co-Founder and Co-Managing Principal of Latus Partners, the manager of a real estate private equity fund in New York City; co-head of acquisitions/managing director at The City Investment Fund, a real estate opportunity fund co-sponsored by Fisher Brothers and Morgan Stanley which invested exclusively within the five boroughs of New York City; and managing director at Blackacre Capital Management, the real estate arm of hedge fund, Cerberus Partners.  Mr. Glatzer earned an M.B.A. in Finance from Cornell’s Johnson Graduate School of Business, and a B.S. in Neurobiology from Cornell University.
